Nancy Kerrigan Has Nothing To Say About 'I, Tonya'

And when interviewer Amy Robach asked if she ordered the attack, Harding replied, "No".

Tonya Harding, left, and Margot Robbie arrive at the Los Angeles premiere of "I, Tonya" at the Egyptian Theatre on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017.

I, Tonya is about collective cultural abuse and how media-spun narratives can instantly blossom into infamous legacies. Harding has denied any involvement with the planned attack, although she recently admitted during the ABC News special Truth and Lies: The Tonya Harding Story to overhearing her ex-husband and a friend discussing "tak [ing] out" someone in order for her to make the team.

Harding responded: "You wouldn't let me finish".

Rosenberg continued, "Obviously it doesn't work that way and therefore I've chosen to terminate our business relationship". The result is spellbinding.

Harding didn't deny the incident helped create more of a buzz around U.S. women's figure skating.

Kerrigan told the Globe, "It's not really part of my life. I Punch Line", Dargis notes that among the hijinks, Harding's head gets smashed into a piece of glass so hard that shards scatter. While Harding has sat down for multiple interviews, even appearing on the red carpet at the film's Los Angeles premiere and attending the 75th Annual Golden Globes Awards, Kerrigan has stayed hush. until now. "I, Tonya" is, as a result, often slight in its otherwise nuanced depiction of a complex figure.

"I just love it so much", she added. Does it love her or hate her?

Then, minutes later, they showed Harding skating and training today (see video below), and there it was for the world to see - a bold and pink Realtree APG logo on her sweatshirt. It was bad to watch LaVona talk down to her child about everything. "Do you remember something that you've not said?'" the star recalled. "I don't care how it portrays me". She was fined $160,000 and was permanently barred from all amateur skating competition. I've got my life. 'Thank you so much, I appreciate being on your show but I think I'm going to have to say have a good night, ' she finished.

"I don't know, " said Kerrigan. Has anyone ever said screw it all and flipped on the Tone Lōc and just gone for it like she did? "Magnificent", was her word, especially after she'd seen it a few times. "I, Tonya" suggests that, in some ways, it's Tonya who is the victim.

Janney generates uproarious slapstick in scenes of this gargoyle walloping young Tonya with a hairbrush or kicking her and her chair over at the dinner table for being sassy. She was beaten. She was threatened. Jeff's BFF/Tonya's bodyguard Shaun somehow gets involved and takes over, hiring two of his guys.

Meanwhile, the real victim hasn't seen the film. A weird thing. The whole thing was insane, being that it's a story. I, Tonya takes someone from popular culture we thought we had the measure of, and throws all of our ideas out the window. She declares her innocence. This whole incident happened out of immaturity.

"Enough apologising", Harding said. It made the story a lot more interesting to watch because it felt like you were really hearing Tonya, Jeff, or LaVona's side of the story.

"It was before I figured out the story I wanted to tell", Rogers said. The film did an unbelievable job of putting the audience in the shoes of each character. "But I think the victim in all this wasn't you".
