Three Mid-Del students are in Del City police custody in connection with a shooting threat made against their school.

A Utica 14-year-old has been charged with a felony after allegedly threatening to "shoot up" Proctor High School.

Brookings High School was placed on lockdown Thursday in response to a "potential threat".

The Walker Police Department reported two teens were arrested Thursday morning for making threats of school violence.

Rachel Donly, a student at South Broward High School was demonstrating outside the school along Federal Highway.

The parent stated that the shooting would occur at East Paulding Middle School on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at an unspecified time.

Meanwhile, at Kennedy Middle School, several students are accused of throwing food and other objects Wednesday afternoon around 2 p.m.

Officers removed him from the school, and classes continued without interruption, police said. Deputies say based on their investigation his threats were credible. "We can not take any threat lightly, so we have to investigate and look into it". The actions of this student are in violation of our discipline code, and the student will be held accountable within the parameters of the district's discipline policy and the law. "And I'm frankly sorry that it was so hard on you and so hard on us and so hard on our students". Jaeger said while teachers had been trained, most didn't tell their students about what they learned.

"The safety of our students and staff is a high priority", she said.

Officials are not releasing the students' names due to them being juveniles.
