In reversal, former Trump aide says he'll probably cooperate with Mueller

"Certainly if Mr. Nunberg has light to shed about what the President knew about the Trump Tower meeting, we would like to find out", Schiff said. He plans, according to weird interviews he gave on MSNBC and CNN, to just "let him arrest me".

Nunberg was an early Trump adviser, but they parted ways early in the campaign.

A source close to the Trump campaign told Fox News that Nunberg was sacked twice "for good reason" and known to be erratic, referring to his media appearances Monday.

If, like me, you'd never heard of Sam Numberg before now, he made the most of his 15 minutes of fame.

"You know what he did?" "Donald Trump won this election on his own".

Nunberg struck a dramatically different tone Tuesday than he did over the course of several TV interviews a day earlier.

"He's too smart for that, he didn't want it", said Nunberg of the president. "I don't know what it is, and perhaps I'm wrong, but he did something", he told Jake Tapper.

Nunberg's decision to air his views publicly was not based on legal advice.

They also said that they were anxious Nunberg had been drinking prior to dialing in to MSNBC and CNN.

"I have not had a drink", he said, adding that he had taken anti-depressants.

Burnett then pressed Nunberg on any possible drug use, echoing accusations about him that circulating from the White House.

"He's incorrect", said Sanders.

"I'm going to end up cooperating with them", he told the outlet.

"Should I spend 50 hours going over all my emails with [Trump confidant and longtime political operative Roger Stone] and with Steve Bannon?".

A FORMER Trump aide denied being drunk in a clash with a CNN host after a series of car-crash interviews where he branded the White House press secretary a "fat slob". He also has been on the outs with Trump, who sued Nunberg for $10 million for allegedly violating a confidentiality agreement and leaking information about then-campaign manager Corey Lewandowski's relationship with Hope Hicks, who later became Trump's communication director.

"Let me reiterate, I have no knowledge or involvement in Russian Collusion (sic) or any other inappropriate act", Stone's statement read.

The congressman called on Nunberg to testify following his declaration in numerous television interviews Monday that he would refuse to comply with a subpoena from special counsel Robert Mueller.

Nunbert also said he thinks former Trump foreign policy adviser Carter Page worked with the Kremlin.

Nunberg is a lawyer who has been admitted to the NY state bar after graduating from Touro Law Center on Long Island, N.Y. All the same, he asked for legal advice from various cable news show hosts: "What do you think Mueller's going to do to me?" he asked Tur.

Nunberg denied to CNN at the time that he had written the posts and said "anything that was posted under my name does not mean I posted it".

Nunberg said he suspected that investigators would want testimony on the Miss Universe pageant Trump held in Russian Federation in 2013.

"If it were me, I would", Tapper replied.

"They can say whatever they want". He said he suspects Mueller has concluded that Trump "may have done something" based on the questions he was asked by the special counsel's team. Wolff said the former adviser was "generally regarded as the man who understood Trump's whims and impulses best" and a Bannon associate.
