Elizabeth Warren seeks to use Trump Pocahontas 'racial slur' as political tool

1/27/2018- Roxbury MA- Malden High School- Senator Elizabeth Warren hosted her first town hall of the new year on Sunday afternoon

"I am running for the United States Senate in 2018 MA, whoo-hoo".

Warren's response came after Todd read a portion of the editorial, posted on the television screen, that appeared in The Eagle's Tuesday edition.

US Senator Elizabeth Warren refused to say whether she would serve a full six-year term if reelected to the Senate this year under persistent questioning from NBC's Chuck Todd.

"For these reasons, those who wish her ill will never allow the Native American question to recede; Sen".

Earlier today Jazz wrote about Elizabeth Warren's semi-commitment that she's not running for president in 2020.

In February, Warren directly addressed the controversy around her claims of heritage in a surprise speech to the National Congress of American Indians, where she promised to fight for issues of importance to Native Americans.

"I know who I am, and never used [my heritage] for anything, never got any benefit from it anywhere", she said on "Meet the Press".

Warren has been discussed as a possible 2020 presidential candidate but has said she is focused on winning re-election in November.

Warren could deliver the rebuke of all rebukes to Trump by posting her DNA test results to back up her claims.

In a Sunday interview with CNN 'State of the Union, Warren tried to do just that by bringing up native women who are victims of sexual violence.

"Only Elizabeth Warren can answer why she assumed a Native American identity as she was climbing the career ladder in academia", Lindstrom said.

"It's about my family's story, ' she said".

Warren said she also is concerned Trump's lack of staffing and expertise at the State Department could undercut his planned meeting with North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un. In an age of hypersensitivity to claims of cultural appropriation, it's odd that she thinks her family lore ought to be enough to put this to rest. Or, at least, that's what she wants us to believe.

A directory of law professors listed Warren as a minority from 1986 to 1995, just before she joined Harvard Law School. Because my family's story is deeply a part of me and a part of my brothers. The issue not only hangs over Warren's Senate reelection campaign, but is all but certain to be a focus should the two face off in the presidential election campaign.
