Manchester United will do battle with Tottenham Hostpur in the FA Cup semi-finals following Sunday's draw.

"It was a fantastic performance, I'm very pleased and happy for the players and the fans".

Crystal Palace escaped the drop zone by beating Huddersfield 2-0, with Southampton dropping into the danger zone having played a game less.

Winners of the two semi-finals will receive £900k in prize money, while the losers will take £450k each. We fully deserved the victory.

United will face a Tottenham side who have enjoyed great success under manager Mauricio Pochettino but are without a trophy since they won the League Cup back in 2008.

Spurs are playing at Wembley this season while their home at White Hart Lane is being redeveloped, so have an advantage heading into the semifinals - and the final if they make it that far.

Swansea's only chance to upset the form book came when they had an early appeal for a penalty turned down when Tottenham goalkeeper Michel Vorm upended Nathan Dyer.

The visitors thought they had a second in the 23rd minute through Heung-min Son but the flag was raised for offside against South Korean forward after he latched onto Eriksen's through ball. At the other end Dier's long-range shot was tipped wide by Nordfeldt brilliantly as the game opened up.

The second goal for Spurs felt inevitable and it arrived on the stroke of half-time.

Swansea made a change at the break, replacing Kyle Naughton with Luciano Narsingh, but the pattern remain unchanged as Spurs pressed for a third goal. The Swansea defence stood off again, this time allowing Lamela time and space to pick his spot from the edge of the area.
