Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 plus, Nokia 6 Launched in India

Nokia 7 Plus is likely to be pitted against the likes of Moto X4 and Honor V10

To top it off, the Nokia 6 is built with Series 6000 aluminium body, just like the old Nokia, this one's tought too.

The pocket-friendly Nokia 6 (2018) will be the cheapest of all three phones priced at Rs. 16,999. It can be availed in colors like Black/Copper, White/Iron and Blue/Gold. The new Nokia 6 will be available at zero cost EMI on credit cards and through Bajaj FinServ and Home Credit. It also gets aesthetics upgrades, and the highlight is the Zeiss camera. Based on the fact that the Russian people are also "stuck" to the retro models of phones, the gadget is also expected on the shelves of local retailers.

Nokia has raised its dividend payment by an average of 8.1% per year over the last three years. It will have two colour options- Black/Copper and White/Copper. Pre-booking of both the devices will start from April 20. Airtel customers will also get an extended free subscription to the Airtel TV app till December 31, 2018, as part of the Nokia 7 plus launch offers.

Coming to the specifications of the three smartphones, The Nokia 6 (2018) comes with a 5.5-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1080 X 1920 pixels and 16:9 aspect ratio. However, its the flagship, Nokia 8 Sirocco, which, unlike the solid yet aggressively priced Nokia 8, could turn out to be a miss in terms of sales. The device will be up for pre-order from 20 April via Amazon, Nokia online mobile shop and offline stores across country. The device will be available from April 30. Nokia has used Corning Gorilla Glass 5 to cover 95% of the device.

The device integrates Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 Mobile Platform to deliver fast and smooth performance alongside great day-long battery life. It has a native storage of 32 GB and comes with a microSD card slot. The company will not be launching the 6GB variant in India for now. As for the front camera, the Nokia 7 Plus features a 16-megapixel fixed focus offering with an f/2.0 aperture, 1-micron pixels, and Zeiss optics.

On the front, the phone sports a 5 MP camera with an aperture rate of f/2.0. There is also a rear finger-print sensor with 3800 mAh battery support. It also supports Qi wireless charging, and IP67 rating for water and dust resistance.

The Nokia 6 (2018) includes a 5.5-inch Full HD display. It is packed wtih an Octa Core Snapdragon 660 processor with Adreno 512 GPU alongwith 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB (eMMC 5.1) of internal storage which can be exteded up to 256GB with microSD card. The device packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage space that is further upgradable. There's a dual rear camera (12MP with an f/1.75 aperture and 1.4-micron pixels + 13MP with an f/2.6 aperture, 1-micron pixels) with a dual-tone LED flash and Zeiss optics. It comes with fingerprint sensor on its back side. It features a dual rear camera module with a 12 megapixel and a 13-megapixel camera with dual tone LED flash.

But will 2018's range of Nokia smartphones be able to do that? All 3 run on Oreo at the moment, so an Android P update should happen soon after the software comes out in August. That's surprising as nearly all other recently launched flagships of other brands are shipped with Snapdragon 845 SoC. On the front, it features a 16-megapixel camera. There's also a fingerprint sensor mounted on the back. Juicing up the smartphone is a 3000-mAh battery with support for fast charging.
