I have chosen not to join the show this season because I am at a completely different place in my life right now focusing on my businesses and my relationship. Like many bygone series, the show is getting a new lease on life with an MTV revival, entitled Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.

Fellow cast member Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi also had her input when it came to why Giancola opted to not return. She went on to say, "I do", to LaValle in 2014. So, I think if I don't take pictures with him or I don't share my life with him, people are like, 'Are you still with your husband?' I don't need to share with the world what me and my husband are going through. News that, "She's happy in her current relationship and didn't want to be disrespectful of that".

Nicole Polizzi was thrilled to return to the Jersey Shore, the MTV reality show where she became best known as "Snooki" in 2009.

You can check out the full post below, which added some visual appeal to her explanation and also contained an additional message to her biggest fans.

Tune in to MTV's Jersey Shore Family Vacation on Thursday, April 5 at 8pm ET for the two-hour premiere! A second season has already been given the go-ahead by the network before it even airs.

If Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has to serve time in prison, Snooki knows he'll be OK.

While it may sound like everyone but Sammi is back, Jersey Shore aficionados will notice another name is missing.

And if the format doesn't change, Jersey Shore will likely be losing another roommate, in addition to Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, who chose not to take part in season one. Maybe she'll make a cameo on season 2.

Ronnie recently skipped the London premiere of the highly anticipated reunion series "Jersey Shore Family Vacation", which had many speculating that the baby was arriving very soon!

JWoww, 32, told ABC News ahead of the show's premiere why they chose to return now.
