Macron Reiterates Need To Keep Iran Nuclear Deal

PM Margaret Thatcher had a close relationship with President Reagan

A pictured emerged on Saturday showing a patch of uneven, yellowed grass where the planting photo had been taken.

Sydney's bestselling newspaper, The Daily Telegraph, reported the comment on its front page on Thursday under the headline "President Pepe Le Pew", likening Macron to the Warner Bros. love-sick French skunk cartoon character. "It is in quarantine which is mandatory for any living organism imported to the US".

News photographers snapped away Monday when Trump and Macron shoveled dirt onto the tree during a ceremonial planting on the South Lawn. "It will be replanted afterwards".

Over the weekend, however, it became apparent that the tree had gone missing from the White House grounds. The diplomat wrote, more than once, that officials had packed the roots in plastic. "It was actually a special favor from Trump to France to be able to plant the tree the day of the president's visit", the official said.

In the absence of serious improvements, Tehran will continue to spend its growing trade revenue on a deadly missile program, ongoing nuclear development and further increasing its own unsafe regional influence.

After entering the First World War in 1917, US forces were instrumental in beating the Germans back on the Western Front in 1918 and liberating France.

Reuters reported that the tree grew near the "Devil Dog" fountain. Once that period passes and the tree doesn't pose a risk to species here, the tree will return to its location at the White House where it should hopefully live for many years and be a reminder of the ties that bind the two countries.

Having just left Washington and talks with the USA president - where he described U.S. policy inconsistencies as "insane" - Macron said he did not know which way Trump would go on the deal. Either explanation makes sense, of course, but one wonders why the White House didn't make this clear from the start, or why it didn't have a response ready when the sapling, which was planted in a fairly open and obvious area on the White House lawn seemingly disappeared overnight.

Business Insider reached out to the White House for an explanation and will update this post if we hear back.

Reeling off other examples, Bush mentioned Grover Cleveland's Japanese spiderleaf, Herbert Hoover's oak and a magnolia planted by Andrew Jackson next to the South Portico.
