DICE Teams up with Nvidia for Battlefield V

Battlefield V

(NASDAQ:EA) studio, officially announced Battlefield™ V, immersing players in unexpected battles and untold stories of World War 2 as never seen before. Whether dragging a squad mate to safety or shooting a grenade out of the sky, players will forge a deeper connection to the ever-evolving world around them and achieve victory against the toughest odds. With a mode that so clearly leads the current gaming zeitgeist, it comes as a surprise that the reveal stream for Battlefield V didn't even mention battle royale.

"While we don't want to scoop our own reveal, you can bet your favorite Battlefield 1 weapon that exciting gameplay changes are coming", developers Dice teases. For the world that Battlefield has created, Morrel said, "We've got the sandbox, we've got the vehicles, we've got the epic scale-it is a natural fit for us".

Battlefield V will support 4K resolution, HDR10, and variable refresh rate when played on the Xbox One X console and will still be completely compatible with the regular Xbox One and Xbox One S like all Xbox One-branded titles. In that you got a few expansions (usually four) for a discounted price, as well as a few other perks like regular battle packs and priority queuing for multiplayer servers.

Operations mode is back as well as War Stories (yes, people love singleplayer, Activision!). Deluxe Edition owners will gain early access on October 16, Origin Access and EA Access subscribers will receive a Play First trial on October 11. It's good stuff and also gives you an idea of how well Combined Ops will work in the game.

Naturally, that throwback includes bringing back classic Battlefield multiplayer modes like majority rule conquest, but there are tons of new features to drool over, too.

This time around it appears that Dice has put more emphasis on Operations, renaming it Grand Operations. Those who pre-order will also get early access to the Battlefield V Open Beta, an extra Special Soldier Set, and access to five weapons as soon as they begin playing.
