Heat for tweet: Browns' Randall amazed by jersey posting

Joe Thomas gets involved in the Twitter jersey showdown for NBA Finals

Newly acquired Cleveland Browns safety Damarious Randall tweeted out Monday that he would buy everyone who retweeted him a jersey if the Cavaliers won the NBA Finals.

Randall, who was acquired from Green Bay this offseason via trade, tweeted late Monday night, "If the Cleveland Cavaliers win the 2018 National Basketball Association finals I'll buy everyone who (sic) retweet's this a jersey".

Cleveland Browns safety Damarious Randall may have to dig deep into his wallet if the Cleveland Cavaliers win the National Basketball Association championship.

When one person replied, "Zero percent chance he delivers", Randall retweeted and commented, "100% chance".

As of this posting, Randall now owes 163,000 people a jersey if the Cavaliers win the NBA Finals.

But Randall is having fun with it even though he's getting hammered by Cleveland fans.

"I definitely didn't think the Cleveland fan base would go this insane about it", Randall said, via ESPN's Pat McManamon.

Until he actually does however, let's just wait and see as Randall has reached over $14 million in jersey commitments. Assuming around $100 for an authentic replica, Randall could have a $100 million retweet fiasco on his hands.

Randall is so confident in Golden State that he made an offer on Twitter. "But at the end of the day, I mean they are both great, great players, and I definitely respect everything that LeBron has done for this community and for this city and state". "And I think, to us, it's something that we laugh and joke about and definitely something that we have to continue to watch for".

"I'm not paying one penny", Jackson said.

Like it or not, Randall says he'll be in attendance for Games 3 and 4, which are to be held inside Oracle Arena.
