Seth MacFarlane Donates to NPR, KPCC After Slamming Fox News

Creator executive producer Seth Mac Farlane of the television show Family Guy speaks onstage during the FOX portion of the 2018 Winter Television Critics Association Press Tour at The Langham Huntington Pasadena

Public figures associated with 21st Century Fox are taking a cue from producer Seth MacFarlane and speaking out against Fox News, the media company's conservative news subsidiary. We all choose who to work with. No matter which sale goes through, Fox News will splinter off with Fox Broadcasting, Fox Business Network and Fox Sports, which will all be spun off into a new, terrifying monstrosity tentatively called New Fox, but will probably just be called Trump Town or some shit.

Levitan began expressing anger following the airing of Laura Ingraham's Fox News program Monday night, during which she likened immigrant detention centers to "summer camps" and "boarding schools", arguing that children are treated well, despite being separated from their families upon crossing the southern border. "This bullshit is the opposite of what Modern Family stands for", he added.

Seth responded on his Twitter account, "In other words, don't think critically, don't consult multiple news sources, and in general, don't use your brain". Apatow tweeted a thank you to Levitan, asking as many people to speak out as possible to change the way Fox News supports destructive policies.

Judd Apatow is continuing to put pressure on Hollywood to demand that FOX News discontinue their biased coverage of the news- specifically their recent coverage of Trump's immigration policy. One of the most prominent voices to decry Carlson's words was Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, who now sees several of his creations airing on the network.

He also tweeted "Michael Tammero at Fox News is assisting kidnappers (The President and his administration) who are holding children for ransom".

"I have made two films for 20th Century Fox and love the people in the movie and TV divisions", Feig tweeted on Tuesday.

Steve Levitan, co-creator of the Fox-produced comedy "Modern Family", says he's "disgusted to work at a company that has anything to do with Fox News" in a tweet on Tuesday, adding that he'll be "setting up shop elsewhere" after the hit series finishes its run. "How can you remain silent when they promote these policies?"
