Latest Nintendo Direct reveals a plethora of games coming to the Switch

Nintendo is rolling out its Switch Online service next week

As if the Nintendo Switch wasn't getting enough awesome accessories already (like that GameCube controller and adapter), it's set to become home to classic gaming NES fun!

After teasing its arrival for what feels like a lifetime, Nintendo has finally confirmed its Switch Online subscription plan will launch in just a few days on September 18, 2018. If you decide that it is, then it's US$3.99 (~RM16.52) a month, US$7.99 (~RM33.09) for three months, and US$19.99 (~RM82.79) for a year.

That leaves only five days for you to make sure that your Switch profiles are linked to the proper account, or they'll be locked indefinitely. There are options for both individual and family memberships (up to 8 users).

Will you be signing up for Switch Online once it debuts on September 18th? Not all games will support this feature, but it's a relief to see Nintendo add a feature that should have been ready at launch.

The controllers work specifically with the NES games offered through the Online service, so don't expect to use them with, say, the Hamster Vs.

We also no know that the starting library of NES games will also include third-party stuff like Double Dragon, Gradius, and River City Ransom. It also connects with games such to show off in-game stats and other data, and can enhance the experience of the title like Splatnet 2 for Splatoon 2.
