WWE moving forward with Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia

"Information from the Turkish side affirms that the suspects in Khashoggi's case premeditated their crime", said the Saudi public prosecutor on Saudi state TV today, according to Reuters.

Turkey's state-run news agency says Saudi officials did not allow Turkish investigators, probing the killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, to search a well in the garden of the Saudi Consulate.

The Washington Post reported Wednesday that Haspel listened to audio purportedly of his interrogation and murder while she was in Turkey.

So far, Saudi authorities have arrested 18 people in connection with the killing and fired top security officials considered close to MBS.

Khashoggi was last seen alive walking into the consulate on October 2, and Saudi Arabia initially denied any part in his disappearance.

It's well known that WWE has come under some heat due to their relationship with the Saudi Arabian government after it was reported that the government ordered the murder of Khashoggi.

On Tuesday, Trump called the evolving stories over Khashoggi's fate - the crown prince initially said the columnist left the consulate on his own - "one of the worst in the history of cover-ups".

The kingdom insisted for weeks that the writer, who had been a critic of the Saudi government, had walked out of the consulate.

Addressing the conference on live television, the crown prince called the murder "a heinous crime that can not be justified".

Dampening speculation he could be pushed aside, the prince appeared relaxed, ebullient and conciliatory toward Turkey, which has stopped just short of blaming him for the killing.

Turkish police are still searching for any trace of Khashoggi, as they press the Saudi authorities for the location of his body.

Saudi Energy Minister Khalid Al Falih said on Wednesday: "It's not a death, it's a murder". Turkish police took a water sample from a well at Saudi Arabia's consulate in Istanbul, Hurriyet newspaper reported.

MbS promised yesterday the killers would be brought to justice, his first public comments on the matter after speaking by phone with Erdogan.

"We are determined to punish those who are responsible for this murder", he says. Apparently, legendary performers still resonate with those in Saudi Arabia though they have been infrequent combatants in many years.

Shortly before Prince Mohammed took the stage at the Future Investment Initiative, he spoke to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan about the killing of Khashoggi.

In the absence of high-profile figures, $50bn of deals were signed, although most were with companies from Saudi Arabia's regional allies, as well as the French oil firm Total, one of the few western companies that refused to withdraw.

'She said the Home Secretary is taking action against all suspects in the murder of Mr Khashoggi to prevent them entering the UK.
