Trump will be in full campaign mode in final week before midterms

Immigrants fighting for their rights

President Donald Trump makes a hard turn Wednesday from offering empathy to grief-stricken Pittsburgh to the fear and fury of a midterm election closing argument created to drive up Republican turnout despite the risk of deepening national divides.

In addition, Trump attempted to cast the midterms as "the election of caravans, Kavanaugh, law and order and common sense" during a rally last week, a reference to a caravan of Honduran immigrants heading toward the USA border seeking asylum and Democratic opposition to Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, whom Trump successfully nominated.

Southwest Florida and the Panhandle are two party strongholds where Republicans look to run up large vote margins.

"I'm proud and humbled to have President Obama, my friend and a true patriot, on the campaign trail here in Florida", Gillum said in a statement.

"In the final six days, the president will have 11 rallies around the United States", the official said on Monday.

Trump will travel to Missouri, West Virginia, Montana, Indiana, Ohio, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida in the final days before the November 6 vote, the official said. That includes rallies scheduled this week in Missouri and West Virginia, which also have closely watched U.S. Senate races.

The website states he will be speaking at the Pensacola International Airport at 5:30 p.m. Doors open at 2:30 p.m.

The president plans to hold at least 10 rallies in the space of six days, with two in Florida, the official said.

President Donald Trump will visit Missouri twice to urge the defeat of Democratic Sen. (Nevada is the only tossup state won by former Secretary Hillary Clinton); in the Florida race, Mayor of Tallahassee Andrew Gillum (D) has a slight edge over U.S. Representative Ron DeSantis (R-Jacksonville); and even states like Kansas and South Dakota have stayed competitive.
