"I'm not here because I'm making some grandstand, I'm thinking about running myself", Winfrey said.

After surprising Georgians by campaigning for Abrams door-to-door, Oprah spoke at a Thursday campaign rally for her in Marietta. "You are dishonoring your family", Winfrey said.

Vice President Mike Pence, left, and GOP gubernatorial candidate Brian Kemp, right, wave to supporters at Dalton Convention Center in Dalton on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018.

Last week, District Judge Leigh Martin May issued a temporary restraining order blocking the state of Georgia from throwing out absentee ballots and applications in cases where a voter's signature didn't match their paperwork.

Rep. John Lewis (D-Georgia) knows how to have a good time.

Pence visited the state to campaign for Republican gubernatorial candidate and Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp. "Make things better here in Georgia", the nation's first black president said of Abrams' bid to become the first black female governor in American history.

Kemp and Abrams, a former state representative, have battled over voting rights and access for years in the Deep South state.

Two federal courts on Friday issued rulings that order Georgia to allow some 3,000 naturalized US citizens to vote in elections next week and prevent the state from throwing out some absentee ballots. Trump will travel Sunday to Georgia, appearing with Kemp as part of the president's final multistate tour ahead of the midterms.

"I'm encouraged to see so many young voters showing up at the polls, and I'm also encouraged to see that we have a growing pool of independent voters who I think will break for democrats during this election", she said. "And I got a message for all of Stacey Abrams' liberal Hollywood friends: this ain't Hollywood".

"It's like a domino effect", said Sara Henderson, executive director of Common Cause Georgia, about the voting issues in Georgia.

Ross also said Kemp must also update the secretary of state's website with guidance for voters flagged as noncitizens, including contact information for voters to call with questions.

Kemp's campaign called the incidents "fake" and blamed Abrams.
