Donald Trump Slams CNN Reporter: ‘You Are A Rude, Terrible Person!’

[VIDEO] Donald Trump, CNN's Jim Acosta Argue at Press Conference

Wednesday at a press conference about the 2018 midterm elections, President Donald Trump blew up at CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta.

President Trump vacillated between subdued and combative as he called Tuesday's election ー in which Democrats took control of the House and several pivotal governorships ー a "very close-to-complete victory".

CNN's Jim Acosta stood defiantly on the front row, badgering the president over and over about the caravan and the Russian Federation election, refusing to release the microphone, standing right in front of the president in a shocking confrontation.

Trump said Republicans "defied history" by expanding their majority in the Senate to at least 51 seats, while chastising Republicans who failed to embrace his support.

"The way you treat Sarah Huckabee is frightful", he said.

John Legend criticized President Trump on Twitter Wednesday.

Later on, Trump upbraided the entire media for reporting fake news and called them "hostile" and "rude" for constantly interrupting - something they did not do with President Obama. But Mia Love gave me no love, and she lost.

"I don't know why you'd say that".

When asked why Representative Jeff Flake of Arizona, who was not a head of any committe, retired, Trump replied: "I retired him".

Many outlets expressed concern at the fact that a White House staffer attempted to take the microphone away from Acosta, who wouldn't stop talking even though he received answers to two different questions.

Following the testy confrontations, CNN tweeted that Trump's "ongoing attacks on the press have gone too far".

The migrants still have a long trip ahead before they actually reach the United States, but they have declared their intentions of entering the country. Trump adds that Democrats have "nothing, zero" on him.

"That's such a racist question", he repeated, pointing his finger at her. "Let me tell you: That's a racist question", he said, as he repeatedly interrupted and cut her off. "I never anxious about it because I've never used racist remarks", Trump told a Yahoo reporter. "It's a very bad thing you said to me".

"Just sit down, please", Trump told Acosta, who asked the president off mic about his description of the media as "the enemy of the people".

"On the other hand you had some that chose to let's stay away, let's stay away", Mr. Trump said.

The reporter was Yamiche Alcindor of PBS Newshour, an African American reporter.
