Why Mel B cried after Spice Girls reunion announcement

Adele reacts to Spice Girls' tour announcement – and it's the best thing we've seen all day!

In a previous episode of carpool karaoke, the All I Ask singer told host James Cordon about the heartbreak she experienced when Geri Horner, also known as Ginger Spice, left the group in 1998, ET reports.

"I wouldn't be here without my girls", she said. That's a big part of our ethos.

"Girls, I've missed you", said Emma to much chatter as they walked into the studio.

The Spice Girls commandeered a Girl Power take over live on Heart Breakfast.

Now it seemed she was keen to get back on the 'Star and head to France (or perhaps she was heading to Brussels...or Amsterdam!) as she was seen wearing a resplendent red ensemble, complete with matching pumps for her, we assume, first class trip.

"She's joining us at Wembley on June 14."

Mel C, aka Sporty Spice, noted that she too was hesitant to join up with the group for this reunion, saying, "There were times, like I mentioned earlier, I wasn't sure, and we really supported each other and the decisions that we make".

Victoria Beckham has bolted out of the city following the news she won't be joining her former bandmates on the road.

"When you chase money that's the wrong way round".

In a video shared on the band's newly created Twitter account, the four remaining members staged a mock news broadcast to confirm the tour, featuring them starting to sing one of their old songs.

Media captionWhat do people really think of the announcement that the Spice Girls are going on tour?

"It was a huge moment in my life when they came out". Geri then teased that there might be more tour dates "if Mel B behaves herself".

Whether 90s Union Jack waving product-placement driven feminism remains relevant in 2018 will be revealed when tickets go on sale on Saturday Morning for the hotly-anticipated shows. "I wouldn't be here without my girls", she said.
