Directed and filmed by Greg MacGillivray, National Parks Adventure has viewers follow a trio into over 30 parks, including Yellowstone and Grand Canyon in the American West. Here is one trailer for the film:

The National Park Service finds its origin in a now-famous trip taken by US President Theodore Roosevelt with noted conservationist John Muir into Yosemite in 1903. While camping, Roosevelt and Muir discussed how best to protect the land for the future – Roosevelt would then go on to establish the United States Forest Service and create five new national parks. That camping trip is dramatized in the film.

National Parks Adventure is screening both in the US and internationally, and will show at IMAX, IMAX 3D, and various giant-screen cinemas. Upcoming locations & times can be found at Theatres and the official site for the film is National Parks Adventure.
