Rockstar Games has now debuted the first trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2, which is slated for release in the Fall of 2017. The video game is a follow-up to Rockstar’s hit Red Dead Redemption (2010), with some speculation that the newer installment may actually be a prequel in terms of story-line. The 2010 game introduced the iconic John Marston character to the Western genre, a man forced by the US government to track down his former outlaw gang as the Old West gave way to 20th century modernity. Will he be in the newer game?
Red Dead Redemption 2 (2017) thus far is set for release on the Xbox One and Sony PS4 consoles. Rockstar Games has confirmed that there will be an online multiplayer option for the game. Featuring a number of different landscapes and settings, here is the first trailer:
